The LevelOne GEP-0531 is a compact 5-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE switch designed for small offices, home networks, or remote work environments that require both PoE and non-PoE devices. It features 4 PoE ports and 1 uplink port.
Each PoE port supports up to 30W, with Port 1 supporting IEEE 802.3bt standard for high-power devices—providing up to 60W. The total PoE power budget is 60W, making the GEP-0531 ideal for applications such as IP phones, wireless access points, and surveillance systems.
The switch includes a DIP switch for enhanced configuration flexibility, offering the following three modes:
PoE Watchdog Mode – Automatically detects and restarts unresponsive PoE devices
Isolation Mode – Provides port isolation to enhance network security
Extension Mode – Extends PoE transmission up to 300 meters at 10 Mbps on Ports 3 and 4.
