FGP-2831 28-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch, 802.3af/at PoE, 24 PoE Outputs, 390W Power Budget, 2 Gigabit RJ45 and 2 Gigabit SFP Uplink Ports

The LevelOne FGP-2831 is a 28-port unmanaged Fast Ethernet PoE switch designed for surveillance and SMB access networks that require many powered devices. It provides 24 x 10/100Mbps PoE ports for IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless APs, plus 2 x Gigabit RJ45 and 2 x Gigabit SFP uplink ports for high-speed connection to core switches or NVRs.

Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at, the FGP-2831 offers an ample 390W PoE power budget. It supports up to 24 ports at 15.4W or 13 ports at 30W, giving flexible power allocation for mixed standard- and high-power PoE deployments. Built-in 6kV surge and 6kV/8kV ESD protection enhance reliability in harsh or noisy environments.

Front-panel DIP switches provide simple hardware configuration with PoE Auto-Check and selectable Default, VLAN and Extension modes. Extension mode extends reach up to 250 meters at 10Mbps, ideal for remote cameras and outdoor devices. The PoE Auto-Check function automatically detects frozen PDs, cycles PoE power on the affected port and restores service, reducing the need for on-site maintenance.
