Der LevelOne GTL-5291 bietet leistungsstarkes Layer3 Gigabit-Ethernet Switching mit 52 Ports, wovon 48 RJ45 10/100/1000BASE-T Ports sind und weitere 4 10G SFP+ Ports. Er unterstützt Layer3 Management, wie OSPF, RIP, QoS, VLAN, MSTP, Multi-Brocast und Port Management. Der Switch ist ideal für Hochleistungs-Server-Aggregationen, z. B. in Unternehmensrechenzentren, wo er High-End- oder netzwerkgebundene Dateiserver über Glasfaser-Ports anbinden kann. Er kann auch als Backbone-Upgrade oder zur Bereitstellung von Gigabit-to-the-Desktop für Power-User eingesetzt werden.
