Media Giant PVR

The Media Giant combines a full featured network HD media player with a personal video recorder. You can record all your favourite TV shows and movies thanks to the built-in analog TV tuner. You can also record directly from your DVD player, camcorder or set-top-box (for digital cable or satellite) with the composite AV input, component video input or the digital Firewire™ input. The Media Giant Pro is a high definition network media player which plays all your digital movies, photos and music from the internal hard drive or over your network. You can stream directly from your computer or from compatible storage devices like the Grab’n’GO NAS products. The device is also a DLNA 1.5 compliant media server, so you can stream all your content (even your recordings!) to other compatible network players or computers.

• This gives you the option to share your content with compatible devices without using a PC or having your PC online all the time.

With Twonky built in the Media Giant you can:

• Record a program and have Twonky sharing it. You can stream the content to an UPnP A/V capable media player (i.e. Grab’n’GO Full HD media player) to another TV in another room.


• Copy all your MP3 files onto your Media Giant and stream your music to an UPnP AV compatible media player (ie. PC with Winamp, Windows Mediaplayer or a UPnP AV capable audio streamer).
• Share images on your Media Giant with Fotoframes which do work in a network or have UPnP AV capabilities.

Network client:

The Media Giant has a built-in network client which allows you to browse your homenetwork. You can playback all movies, photos and music files that are shared on your PC or network hard drive (i.e. Grab'n'GO CH3SNAS).
